Twyla and Shyla

Picture
Twyla and Shyla   are mother and daughter. Shyla was bought at a pet store not knowing she was pregnant. When Twyla was about four months old, their owner decided they no longer wanted guinea pigs as pets. Their children were not helping in their care, so they would be given away for free on Craigslist- a very dangerous way to find a new home for animals. No proper vetting is able to be done and animals can easily fall into the wrong hands. These girls found their forever home at One Heart Wild where they will stay together forever. Guinea pigs require special care- monthly baths, periodic hair trims and nail trims every six weeks. Shyla and Twyla love treats! Daily greens, chew sticks, wicker balls and lots of yummy timothy hay. When they hear any of these packages open, they sing loudly WEEP WEEP!
