Teeny and Dandy

Picture
Teeny and Dandy came to One Heart Wild in 2021. They were bought from a breeder that specializes in designer chickens. Unfortunately, Teeny was born with a defect that makes her feathers fragile, wings malformed and she is stunted in size. Her original flock picked on her mercilessly. When we agreed to give her and her sister Dandy a forever home, Teeny was almost completely naked. Bother girls are now happy and completely healthy living in the warm garage. Teeny has found a strong (and VERY loud) voice, and Dandy has started crowing! These girls have the funniest and sweetest personalities and relationship. They spend their days dust bathing on the side of the house, exploring the bushes and sunbathing on the concrete walkways.
