What does a parrot know about PTSD? Quite a lot!

The cover story of the New York Times Magazine last Sunday was a marvelous look into the mysterious but powerful way that traumatized parrots are helping human beings suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  The story is another indication of the great potential of trans-species psychology research and practice.

The driving purpose of One Heart Wild is to learn more about the amazing potential of trans-species psychology and taking as much advantage as possible of what we know already.

The Times' story is a fascinating glimpse of the wildly different and yet wildly similar brain processes of highly-social parrots and human beings.
